The saga of the Justin Upton trade rumors is finally over. The trade is not yet finalized, but I’m sure that this will go through without a hitch.
Justin Upton will be joining his brother, B.J., in Atlanta. The Braves pick up Upton and Chris Johnson in exchange for infielder/outfielder Martin Prado, Nick Ahmed (shortstop prospect), Brandon Drury (infield in A ball), and right-handed pitchers Zeke Spruill and Randall Delgado. This will give the Braves one heck of an outfield with Jason Heyward and the Upton Brothers.

Plus we all know how excited B.J. must be as he has stated a few times since signing with the Braves that he would love for Justin to play with the Braves. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to work with their sibling? Something the Braves have to be excited about also is that the brothers have a sibling rivalry, meaning that they would be trying to one up each other. That could be extremely exciting to watch.
